Morro de Sao Paulo .....................................
The village of Morro de São Paulo is world-wide famous and a beloved destination of Spanish, Italians, Argentinians and Israelis, packed with trendy people, nice restaurants and beach parties.
It's 272 km away from the city of Salvador by route and 60 km by sea. The way to go to the Tinhare island, where the villages of Morro de Sao Paulo, Gamboa and Boipeba are situated, is by boat or by regular flights that go from the airport of Salvador to the local airstrip.
Gamboa

After a 20 minute walk along the beach of the Tip of the Rock, there is the village of Gamboa. Gamboa, until recent years seemed to be kilometers away from Morro de São Paulo, for there was no sign of the tourism development that was bustling in Morro de São Paulo.
It has continued being a peaceful fishing village. Perhaps this is the reason why some inhabitants have moved here and built houses and inns.
However, although the infrastructure has developed somewhat, the peaceful atmosphere of this fishing town is still preserved, and still, the proximity to Morro de Sao Paulo and its night life, makes Gamboa the perfect destination.
In Gamboa, the waters are calm and crystalline and the beach serene, with few people moving about.
Boipeba

South of the Tinharé island, across the narrow Rio do Inferno, sits the much less accessible village of Boipeba, quiet, rustic and said to be what Morro de São Paulo was 20 years ago. The pristine coastline, including natural swimming pools, and with more than 20km of beautiful, deserted beaches, including Ponta de Castelhanos, known for its diving, makes a perfect day trip.
